Arise, Ye Skeleton King! by Brian Clevinger, Lee Black, Escher Cattle & Tess Stone

A troupe of traveling actors down on their luck discover the tomb of an ancient necromantic king-- and the magic gem that controls his body! Naturally, their first instinct is to use his forbidden magic to stage their own heroic rise to stardom, and all the riches that entails. What will they do when their pliable skeleton puppet gains a literal cult following?
Written by Brian Clevinger and Lee Black of Atomic Robo, and lettered by Tess Stone of Buzz!, Arise, Ye Skeleton King! is readable online, and print chapters are crowdfunded as necessary.

One-Page Zines: Let Me Tell you About TWRP and Atomic Robo: Soup Zine

Zines for trade at shows, formatted to be printed onto single 8.5x11" sheets of paper and folded into a booklet. I really like this format, ad it's cheap to produce and the limited palette and space requirements allow me to condense my thoughts.

BUG BUDDY: Your Take-Along Guide to Amateur Insect Identification

Under a previous pen name (Esabel Ryngin), BUG BUDDY was meant to communicate the process of using common search engine techniques to start identifying insects from photos and real life, without an academic background in insect taxonomy. Sadly, with the changes made to Google Search, these strategies are no longer particularly useful, but the entomological background knowledge included is still helpful for those who would like to get started!

Petty Bouquets

Petty Bouquets and Other Comments in the Language of Flowers is a tongue-in-cheek zine about less formal (and less polite) statements that can be expressed via the language of flower symbolism. Each statement includes a list of the included symbols and a suggested arrangement for the plants involved.

The Beginner Entomologist Coloring & Activity Book

Packed into 64 black-and-white pages under a previous pen name, The Beginner Entomologist comprises a college freshman-level curriculum in entomology in an ages 8+ reading level book. Includes puzzles, coloring pages, activities and informational diagrams. This book was created over the course of the summer of 2013 before I was able to start my undergraduate degree in Insect Ecology & Conservation at University of Delaware, including all the self-taught knowledge of entomology I'd accrued to that point.

Don't Come Out Naked!  by Edie Mackay and Escher Cattle

Don't Come Out Naked! is an allegorical story about choices in platonic or romantic partnerships based on how they "fit".
Bob the bear is going to his first dance, but he needs to select an outfit to wear! He makes choices in the gigantic clothes depot on the advice of his friends, and selects an outfit (particularly a pair of flashy red pumps) that he loves, but doesn't fit him or his lifestyle. He seeks advice from his friends on how to make his outfit work for him, but their situations are too personal and different to be helpful, until Eamon the capybara offers to take him shopping at a smaller store and advise him on the kinds of things he should consider when choosing clothes. Bob manages to select an outfit that works better for his lifestyle, and still has the same things he loved about the shoes he selected before.
